Seven Seasons wins delicious. Harvey Norman Produce Awards 2021 ‘In The Bottle’ Trophy


The winners of the 2021 delicious. Harvey Norman Produce Awards, the country’s most prestigious
food industry campaign, have been revealed and South Australia’s Seven Seasons Distillery has
been named winner of the ‘In the Bottle’ trophy.

Now in its 16th year, the Awards celebrate the country’s new, innovative, native and consistently
outstanding Australian ingredients grown, caught, sourced or produced with dedication, passion,
knowledge and regard for the environment.

Seven Seasons is known for using ‘the world’s oldest new flavours’, many of the native Australian
ingredients used in their Green Ant Gin, Bush Apple Gin and Native Yam Vodka – thought by many to
be as good or better than traditional spirit ingredients – are hand harvested by Indigenous people in
the Northern Territory.

Focussed on sustainability, Seven Seasons only harvest what is bountiful in nature and support local
Aboriginal communities through both business opportunities and the Aboriginal Community
Harvesters organisation.

In awarding the ‘In the Bottle’ trophy to Seven Seasons, drinks writer Mike Bennie said, “Daniel
Motlop is a proud Larrakia man who founded Something Wild Spirits, launching with his famed Green
Ant Gin, sourced from his mob in Larrakia country. This is a brilliant Aboriginal-owned-and- operated
business with a deep and vested connection to Indigenous agriculture. The spirits so far released are
outstanding in quality.”

Founder and Co-owner of Seven Seasons Daniel Motlop couldn’t be prouder. “Being recognised by
delicious. as the best drinks producer in Australia is a huge honour and one that we are incredibly
proud of.
