Jetty Road Head Brewer Blake Bowden

The Nutty Professor

Head Brewer Blake Bowden is serious about not taking himself too seriously.

His philosophy? Enjoy yourself and drink great tasting high-quality beer. Simple.

With humble beginnings as a home brewer just around the corner from Jetty Road HQ, it’s fair to say Blake has come a long way in his 15 years on the brewing tools. His constant experimenting and emphasis on quality and consistency, while pushing boundaries along the way has earned him the nickname The Nutty Professor, and he wears it like a badge of honour. He genuinely cares for his beers like they’re his own children. He’s the pin up Jetty Road man and epitomises what they’re all about — bringing people into the craft beer world and putting smiles on faces.
