Katie McNamara and Trevor O’Hoy Join the Mighty Craft Board of Directors

We’re thrilled to announce 2 recent Non-Executive Director appointments to the Mighty Craft Board of Directors, both effective Monday April 17th 2023.

Katie McNamara

As a senior executive and management consultant, Katie brings experience across a broad range of functional areas applicable to working with the Board, C-suite and the investor community, with a focus on consumer and retail. Katie has over 25 years’ Strategy and Marketing experience in senior executive and consultancy roles across Australia, Europe, United States and Asia.

More recently, Katie’s experience includes senior positions at Super Retail Group, where she was Chief Strategy & Customer Officer; IBM, leading the Digital iX business across Asia; and Deloitte, leading the Australian Strategy practice. Katie has deep experience defining and implementation of corporate strategy across key verticals in FMCG and Retail, including M&A, Digital, Customer, Growth and Innovation. Prior to this, Katie was the Director of Strategy and M&A at Foster’s (2008-2012), responsible for developing the Beer and Wine strategies globally, also leading the demerger of Treasury Wine Estates (TWE:ASX) in 2011. Katie’s previous experience includes McKinsey & Company and ownership of a number of Community Pharmacies.

Katie holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Melbourne University, as well as a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) from the University of Tasmania. She’s also studied Marketing and Digital strategy at Harvard Business school, as well as Digital Marketing at INSEAD.

Katie has had experience serving on a variety of boards across Australia. She is currently Non-Executive Director of Motorcycle Holdings Limited (ASX:MTO) and a board member of Opera Queensland.

Trevor O’Hoy

Trevor O’Hoy is a highly competent and respected businessman, following a 33-year career at Foster’s and is incredibly connected in the beverage industry. During his time at Foster’s, Trevor held several positions, including Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director of Carlton and United Breweries, culminating in him serving as Chief Executive Officer (2004-2008).   

Since his time at Fosters, Trevor has had extensive board experience, serving on a variety of boards across the country, including consumer goods related directorships at Stone and Wood Brewing Company (up to and including its sale to global beverage company Lion), and was previously chair of Maggie Beer Products, Redcape Property Fund, Monash University Campaign and was the Executive Chair of Swisse Wellness Products. 

In addition to these roles Trevor remains the Chairman of the Ponting Foundation, Peak Equities Property Group, and has previously been a director of the RACV, Cricket Australia, Melbourne Stars Big Bash team, Cricket Victoria and the North Melbourne Football Club. 

Trevor holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Monash University and is a graduate of the AASC Middle Management Program at Mount Eliza, Victoria as well as the Harvard Advanced Management Program for international managers.
